I bought this Ethernet adapter after reading all of the positive reviews and knowing of the brand. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and needed an adapter that can allow 2gb down which is what my ISP supplies (2gb down and 35 up) is what I pay for. It gives me exactly what I expected from my ISP a little under which is expected . I live in a apartment complex so this isn't bad at all having to share some signal and all. Plug and play straight out of the box. I immediately got the speeds I wanted. Hope this helps.
