What is Mini DisplayPort

The Mini displaport was released by Apple in 2008 to replace the DVI port, so the MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini are all equipped with Mini DP ports, some PCs such as Asus, Microsoft, MSI, Lenovo, Toshiba, HP, Dell also have Mini DP ports. What is DisplayPort

DisplayPort was developed by VESA in 2006 to replace the VGA, DVI and FPD-Link (LVDS) ports. It is used to connect video sources or displays and supports audio, USB and other forms of data transfer.  DP has gone version 1.0 to 1.1, 1.2, 1.2a, 1.3, 1.4, 1.4a to 2.0. The latest version DP 2.0 updated in 2021, offer resolution up to 16k and 80Gbps bandwidth.

Добрый день! У меня на стационарном мониторе остался вход miniDP, ноутбук имеет выход HDMI. Купил кабель в КНР Mini DP к HDMI, монитор не видит ноутбука, китайцы говорят нужно подключить на оборот, такое может быть?

Je connecte mon PC en DP à mon moniteur mini DP, je voudrais acheter un adaptateur pour une liaison totale en DP. Est ce que ça vaut la peine, je travaille sur des photos et des films tout en 4 K?
Je vois sur votre page que DP et mini DP fournissent le même débit maximal, peut- on savoir quel est le débit réel lors de l’ utilisation des logiciels et du PC?
